Why the Suggested Minimum Is $22

If you do the math, you'll see that $22 doesn't really pay me what I'm worth. It's suggested as a minimum because even the poorest among us might wish to appreciate and acknowledge work that's done for them, and $22/month is just enough to make a meaningful difference. You're all involved in other things—you know what people usually charge to attend single events that are also attended by 50 other people.

I want to facilitate community, and I am not in this to get rich. I do, however, appreciate financial acknowledgement, because my bills are as high as yours. I specifically request at least the minimum suggested contribution. For those who can, please select a higher option.

I am not only the inventor of every process we do in a standard session, but I am also responsible to be present at every group. I not only make sure that every group is facilitated, but I train and encourage others to lead whenever possible. In addition, I have provided long-term coaching to low-income members or attenders for free. In the past five years, my contributions have been equal to half-time work.
